Every epoxy floor coatings project follows our proven step-by-step process — built for quality, transparency, and results you can see.

We visit your property to assess the concrete condition, measure the space, and discuss your goals — finish style, color, and budget. You'll receive a clear, itemized quote with no surprises.

We grind or shot blast the concrete to create the proper surface profile for adhesion. Cracks, spalls, and control joints are repaired or filled. Any moisture issues are addressed before coating begins.

A penetrating epoxy primer is applied to seal the concrete and establish a strong bond. The base coat color is then applied to your chosen system — flake, metallic, or solid color.

For flake systems, vinyl chips are broadcast into the wet base coat. Once cured, excess flake is scraped and the surface is sealed with a durable polyaspartic or polyurethane topcoat for UV resistance and long-term protection.

A flake (chip) system broadcasts colored vinyl flakes into the base coat to create a speckled, textured appearance. It's durable, hides imperfections well, and is very popular for garages. Metallic epoxy uses metallic pigments in the epoxy itself to create a swirling, three-dimensional effect — it's smoother and more decorative, popular for showrooms and upscale interiors. Both use a clear topcoat for protection.
A properly installed epoxy coating with a quality topcoat typically lasts 10–20 years in residential settings and 5–10+ years in heavy commercial or industrial use, depending on traffic and maintenance. Surface preparation quality is the biggest factor in longevity.
In most cases, yes. Cracks, spalls, and surface defects are repaired before coating. However, severely damaged or structurally compromised concrete may need additional repair or an overlay before coating. We assess this during the free estimate.
With polyaspartic topcoats, light foot traffic is typically possible within 24 hours. Full vehicle traffic usually requires 48–72 hours of cure time. We'll give you exact return-to-use guidance for your specific system.
A smooth epoxy surface can be slippery when wet. We include anti-slip additives (aluminum oxide or silica) in the topcoat for any floor in a garage, shop, commercial kitchen, or other area where wet conditions are expected.
